We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Good Afternoon,

I can't believe it, this is the first time I have been late posting a DT card.
This should have been posted yesterday but I was in bed all day & night after my 3rd treatment, the side effects seem to be getting worse!

Anyway enough of that I'm here now with my last DT post for Songbird Challenge before the Man in Red arrives.
Guess what the theme is!

Merry Christmas Everybody

So we would like to see your Christmas themed creations.

Our Christmas challenge is sponsored by Kenny K, who is offering 5 digis to our lucky winner, who will be chosen at random from all our entries.

The DT were given some images to use
I chose Mistletoe

The image was coloured with markers with sparkle added with glamour dust & a little glitter gel pen. The papers were some I had printed off from last year, I think they were Nit Wits, (my scrap box is one sheet lighter!!!!!!!) The sentiment is also one I had printed off I think that was from a Do Crafts CD. All was matted onto red card, a little bakers twine and card candy was used embellish and I even managed a bit of faux stitching.

Don't forget this challenge runs until the New Year so plenty of time to get your entries in. Why not hop on over here for more inspiration.

Better late than never!!!!

Hi Carole
Sorry to hear the treatment wasn't so good this time round - chin up hun - hopefully it will not be as bad next time.
Your card is beautiful - fabulous colouring and great sparkle.

Oh this is gorgeous Carole… this is one of my fave Kenny K images… she's one very sassy lady and you've coloured her beautifully… and lots of lovely sparkle! I love the way you've layered up and the paper and embossing look fab together… it's a wonderful design!! :-)
I'm really sorry that you are not feeling good hun… you are really being put through it with your treatments. I hope you start to feel better very soon!
Don't worry about anything… just rest and get yourself well again!! ;-)
Take Care
Huge hugs
